After boarding at the hospital on Saturday, February 28th, we were not certain whether or not we would be able to take Sophie home on Sunday. We were hoping and praying, but we had not heard if her CBC was showing anything. Usually the doctors did their rounds early in the morning, but on Sunday their schedule was different. No one could tell us anything, so we just hung out with our little one. We had heard rumors of several inches of snow being on its way, but this is NC, you never know what you're going to get. Thankfully we were first on the rounds list because we were going home!

Sophie's first day home we awoke from a nap to a winter wonderland, in March.
Although we didn't take Sophie out to play in the snow, Ellie loved running laps in the snow (you can see her tracks if you look closely).
