SnookySmiles Photography

We were very blessed to have met Melody of SnookySmiles Photography in the Summer (I think!) of 2008 at Concerts on the Green in Davidson. I knew that after waiting so long to have a child, I wanted to have it documented. Melody's Bellies and Babies Package was the perfect way to make that happen. I love how pictures tell a story, and we needed to tell the story of God's goodness and faithfulness!!

Melody was such a joy to work with the first time around that we knew we needed her to tell the story through maternity pictures and newborn pictures of our baby boy too! This time though she had started offering Birth Photography. I always LOVED watching "Birth Day" on TLC. I secretly always wanted to have a birth documented on one of those shows (of course I also secretly wanted to be on The Real World!). The next best way to document the memories of his birth day were with Birth Photography! The tricky thing about labor is that you don't really know when it's going to start. With the Sophster, I was 2 days after my due date. With little E-man, I was 2 days before my due date. Even though he didn't cooperate with the date, Melody cleared her schedule and was right there to walk with us through that special day. It was amazing! Although some might be nervous about having someone else in the delivery room with them, Melody was great. During the times that might be awkward, she asked if I wanted her to leave the room. She was never intrusive. It was like having a close friend in the room with us. When even introduced Melody to the movie Outsourced (which is a funny Bollywood movie). It was a great way to tell the story of Eli's birth.

Thanks, Melody. You are amazing!
